Lead Vocalist & Drummer Sean Rickman teamed with guitarist Leonard Stevens in June of 2009, forming Big Mouth. Bassist Patrick Thornton, performed with the band for the first few months until having to return to prior commitments.
Bassist Andrew Dunbar held the position for the following performances from 2009 – 2011 in which the band fine-tuned their setlist while performing throughout the DMV area.
Big Mouth enlisted bassist, Mike Tony Echols, who remains with Big Mouth while alternating with bassist/keyboardist Pete Krasulski. Big Mouth performs as a trio, maintaining their love and preference for classic rock, rhythm & blues, and funk. The focus of Rickman and Stevens is the commitment to classic songs that resonate with audiences not usually performed on the live music scene ranging from artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Foo Fighters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Funkadelic, Seal, Living Colour, Rush as well as Prince to name a few.
Big Mouth combines a high level of musicianship, presence, and relentless endurance using a setlist that keeps all audiences in motion, engaged, and entertained from beginning to end.
